Genfrenzy

Official Rules

Last updated October 21, 2026.

Genfrenzy contests are run by Pagan Interactive LLC ("Genfrenzy", "we"), 14202 Carlson Cir, Tampa, FL 33626, the sponsor of every contest.

1. Who can enter

Contests are open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older, except residents of states where paid-entry skill contests are not offered (currently Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota and Tennessee). Your account's state of residence and your card's billing address must both be in an eligible state. Employees of Genfrenzy, its judges and moderators, and their households, may not enter.

2. How to enter

3. What's not allowed

4. Judging

Winners are chosen by the judges Genfrenzy assigns to each contest. Judges score approved entries from 1 to 10 on these criteria, and an entry's score is the average of the weighted scores its judges give it:

Ties are broken by the higher creativity score, then by the earlier entry. Judges see entries without entrant names.

Each approved entry is scored by several judges. Results are published when they're due, once every approved entry has enough judges' scores. If scores are missing, results are published as soon as judging is complete.

The community also votes for a People's Choice award, which carries recognition only, not a cash prize. From the time entries close until results are due, anyone with a Genfrenzy account and a confirmed email may vote for one approved entry per contest, other than their own, and may change that vote until voting closes. The entry with the most votes wins; tied entries share the award. Vote counts are shown when results are published.

5. Prizes

Each contest's prize pool is the total of entry fees less the house share shown on the contest page, and is never less than the guaranteed minimum shown there. The pool is split among the top entries in the proportions shown on the contest page before entries open. These terms do not change once a contest opens.

Winners must verify their identity and provide tax information before payment, which they normally do through Stripe, Genfrenzy's payment provider; those prizes are then paid to the winner's Stripe account. Prizes are paid after the 7-day dispute period in section 7 ends and within 14 days of verification. Winners are responsible for any taxes; Genfrenzy issues a Form 1099 where required.

6. Rights

You keep whatever rights you have in your entry. By entering, you give Genfrenzy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and share your entry in connection with the contest and promoting Genfrenzy.

7. Disputes

Questions or disputes about a contest can be sent to [email protected] within 7 days of results being published. Genfrenzy's decision after review is final.
